Mumbo Jumbo Pinot Noir

In the spirit of wine tasting, today I bring you Mumbo Jumbo, a 2012 Pinot Noir handcrafted from select coastal vineyards in California.
A vivid ruby color, the wine unfolds with intense flavors of Asian spices and shaved truffle, showing with juicy raspberry, bright cherry and strawberry. The finish is long and balanced with hints of vanilla and toasted coconut.
This wine is described as beautifully balanced with a mythical taste; the winemaker believes that when done right a pinot noir can be a "mumbo jumbo", a fetish or an object believed the have supernatural powers.
Mumbo Jumbo retails for around $15. I received this bottle as a sample.
