Melby's | Waterford, Maine

After a great weekend skiing at Sunday River with friends, we fueled up for the ride home at Melby's Market & Eatery. In the quiet and unassuming back-country town of Waterford, Maine, Melby's dishes up home cooked meals in a timeless general store meets diner-counter setting. Their homemade bread is delicious - thick-cut and fluffy it makes the perfect vessel for vegetable hash and runny eggs, or as french toast turned toad-in-a-hole.

  4. I love these little East Coast towns. I don't miss the cold, but I definitely missed the snow this year.

    Looks like a fun day!
